Ok, so I am at a complete loss here, because I could study almost any science topic and it qualifies as Biophysics. So here are a few different ideas...
1) I am studying visual methods of scientific education because I am trying to find out how to make science more interesting in order to help high school students understand the importance of science as a study.
2) I am studying the arguments for and against string theory because I am trying to find out whether or not it is a plausible theory in order to demonstrate the duality of scientific research.
3)I am studying the development of microbial fuel cells because I am trying to find out whether they are more efficient than gas in order to help my reader understand a new possibility in alterative energy sources.
These ar three different subject ideas that I have kind of been batting around for a while, but I haven't chosen one or the other, mainly because I need to decide which professors in my department can help me with this or not, and how much information I can realistically collect/digest on each subject.
I'm also not sure how to put this project together media-wise because I really don't want it to be a boring science piece...I want to make it funny, like a play or role-playing or something. In high school I wrote a short skits for my bio class to show biological processes...something like that would be fun to do. I suppose I really just have to do more research...

the microbial fuel cells one sounds really interesting, and you'd have a larger audience for that one since it's such a huge problem economically and environmentally...
but string theory is also way cool...
either way, good luck... that's a lot of work right there :P
